Thanks to the participation of over 12,000 users in the online competition 'SIGAUS Grand Prix', launched in March 2015 and with which we achieved record participation, highlighting the environmental benefits achieved by correct management of used industrial oil, the creation of the Fourth SIGAUS Forest was possible. This project took place with the planting of 1,000 new trees that bear the name of the participants who obtained the best scores in the various games in the competition.

Through the www.hacesmasdeloquecrees.org website and our Facebook profile www.facebook.com/hacesmasconsigaus, the participants had fun while learning about the management process for used industrial oil through five mini games, playing for great prizes, with one environmental prize, thus contributing towards the planting of the Fourth SIGAUS Forest.

Located in the Madrid locality of Coslada, this new forest was created thanks to the agreement signed between the Town Hall of Coslada, with the express consent of Raúl López Vaquero, the Mayor of Coslada, and Buenaventura González del Campo, CEO of SIGAUS in 2015. The posterior inauguration event also included the presence of the Director General of Environmental Assessment of the Community of Madrid, Mariano González, who praised the work by the Entity, not only for coordinating correct collection and management of a highly toxic waste, but also for promoting this type of initiative that has a positive impact on the environment and on the citizens.
