SIGAUS is showing their support for this event another year by divulging the importance of responsible vehicle maintenance, to improve road safety and minimise its possible environmental impact.

More than 50 teams participated in the race, which is part of the Mapoma Running League, offering three categories available to adult runners: 15, 10 and kilometres, respectively. This edition also featured the ‘Peque Carreras’, children’s races of between 50 and 600 metres to help the little ones become acquainted with this healthy activity, and in which 500 children took part.

In its tenth anniversary, this initiative organised by the ASETRA (the Association of Vehicle Repair Workshops of Madrid) and CONEPA (the Spanish Federation of Professional Automotive Businesses), has remained faithful to the principles of its first edition: to minimise accidents due to improper vehicle maintenance, while also encouraging people to change their transport habits, and gradually advance towards sustainable mobility.
