Environmental Commitment Acknowledgment

In 2010 we created the Partner Car Repair Programme to place value on the work carried out by car repairs more committed to the environment. Since then, over 3,000 car repairs have joined this initiative for free to prove their compliance with the actual regulation on used industrial oil.

Car repairs registered in our programme receive free posters indicating that they are a 'SIGAUS Partner Car Repair' which they can use to tell their clients that they are committed to the environment and that they recycle the used oil taken from their vehicles. Furthermore, this material is also useful to explain the purpose of the SIGAUS fee (€0.05/kg) that is charged to drivers when acquiring new lubricating oil and used to finance waste management operations.

The pack is formed by a weather resistant PVC DIN A4 size identification plate, as well as two electrostatic stickers that will identify you as a SIGAUS Partner Car Repair and that should be placed on a visible place. We also include an information leaflet that explains how the used oil collection and treatment system works, as well as tips on best practices on waste handling and delivery.
