Plant Life with SIGAUS
In January 2012, we developed our first advergaming, campaign, 'Plant Life with SIGAUS'. With this project, we connected the online world with a real project of environmental corporate social responsibility for the first time, with the campaign culminating in the planting of the First SIGAUS Forest in the Madrid locality of Alcobendas.24 parrafo planta vida 1
Online and offline CSR commitment
With this initiative, our aim was to continue promoting environmental awareness among internet users and to increase the interactions with the followers on our social networks.
For this, the campaign was based around a game available on both the microsite www.hacesmasdeloquecrees.org and on our Facebook profile, where the users had to plant and take care of their own virtual tree for 24 days, carrying out basic maintenance tasks such as watering, fertilising and pruning, as well as answer simple questions about our work as an IMS and about nature.

First advergaming campaign
Plant Life was our first advergaming campaign linked to a real CSR project, which culminated in the planting of the First SIGAUS Forest.

The campaign was well received among our users, as shown by the 6,000 registrations reached and the 155,000 visits to the page.
First SIGAUS Forest
The First SIGAUS Forest is located in the area of El Juncal in Alcobendas, between the A-1 and the Plaza Norte 2 shopping centre.

First SIGAUS Forest
This campaign led to our first project for reforestation and compensation of CO2 emissions, thanks to the collaboration agreement signed with the Town Hall of Alcobendas, which funded the planting of 1,000 trees to create the First SIGAUS Forest, planted in April 2012.
Each of the trees were labelled with the name of the campaign winners and a specific microsite was created which included an individual page for each tree with its photograph, geographical coordinates and a personalised certificate for each user.
Thanks to this website, citizens could not only walk through the forest and enjoy its benefits in person, but they could also do this virtually through a display of the land that allows users to view the forest and walk through the trees whenever they want.
