Grand Prix SIGAUS 2.0

After the success that we obtained with the 'Grand Prix SIGAUS', in 2016 we decided to carry out a new edition of this advergaming campaign on the website www.hacesmasdeloquecrees.org, in order to show users the environmental benefits obtained from correct management of used industrial oils.

Joining entertainment and environment

With 'Grand Prix SIGAUS 2.0', users could find out more about the management process for this hazardous waste through 4 fun games and a final end challenge. In the 'SIGAUS collection', the users had to guide some trucks towards the tanks of used oil and recover as many as possible. Continuing with the management cycle, in the next game, the participants had to face a unique 'pacman' where they had to clean impurities from the used oil to be able to transfer it to the treatment centre.

As well as these skill tests, in Grand Prix SIGAUS 2.0 we showed our mission of environmental awareness through 'Where is it?', a game where participants had to correctly locate the natural spaces where SIGAUS collects used industrial oil in natural spaces. Like in the previous edition, this campaign included a quiz consisting of 7 different tests where the users showed their knowledge of SIGAUS and of the environment.

The competition ended with 'The Treatment Plant', a final test where players had to collect drops of the recovered oil avoid the obstacles that would make them lose time and lives.

In this campaign we offered numerous prizes to the participants, such as cinema tickets, codes for films and TV series to watch online o routes for nature lovers with Parador hotels for the finalists. Also, the 1,000 top players in the competition won a tree with their name on it in the Fifth SIGAUS Forest, located in Leganés, Madrid.
