SIGAUS celebrates the fifth anniversary of the SDGs on its social media
The Entity has carried out a campaign on its social media profiles joining the #apoyamoslosODS (we support the SDGs) campaign promoted by the Global Compact Spanish Network, which aims to give visibility to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) that are a part of the 2030 Agenda, approved by the UN in 2015.

Five years ago the United Nations General Assembly approved the 2030 Agenda which, through its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), aims to put an end to global problems such as poverty and hunger, to reduce inequalities, and to address urgent challenges such as climate change.
With ten years left to fulfil the 2030 Agenda and its 17 SDGs, the United Nations has called on all sectors of society to join forces in this “Decade of Action”, in order to accelerate sustainable solutions aimed at overcoming the aforementioned challenges.

SIGAUS has joined this campaign supporting the SDGs, sharing different materials on its social media that demonstrate its commitment to achieving these goals.

Supporting the SDGs
In this regard, and as a sign of its firm commitment to the principles promoted by the United Nations Global Compact, SIGAUS joined the #apoyamoslosODS campaign, which took place between 17 and 30 September to help contribute with achieving these goals and to create a ripple effect during this decade of action. Among other initiatives, the Entity produced eight audiovisual pieces, highlighting its main contribution to 8 of the 17 SDGs, which it has shared on its Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin profiles.
SIGAUS also participated in a Special SDG Dossier on good practices and public commitments, in which it explained the SIGAUS Environmental Classroom project: its training proposal for future professionals of the automotive, industrial and mechanical engineering sectors, which is aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and 17 (Partnerships for the goals).
In addition, and on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the approval of the 2030 Agenda on 25 September, SIGAUS joined the Spanish Confederation of Employers' Organisations (CEOE) and many other companies to celebrate this milestone in a joint video in which they demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and to the achievement of the SDGs.
